DOUBLE CHECK: For Beginners or Advanced Learners? 🧐 May 2024
Hi there!
Double Check can be used with any level students. It is a great activity to see if they really understand the Target Language.
🔹You can use Double Check with beginners to practice the topic names and simple questions, such as:
"Are you .....ing .......?"
"Do you like to ........ ........?"
🔹With more advanced leaners you can use Double Check to practice things such as::
"Does Tom want to .......?" (3rd person)
"Did you ....... yesterday?" (verb tenses)
"I think that ....... is fun/tiring." (adjectives)
"I ....... twice a week/once a month." (frequency words)

Of course, you don't have to use all 16 Topic Cards to play Double Check.
Depending on the time you have available and the level of your students, 4~8 cards per pair/team is usually more than enough. 🤗
